The Dog Dies at the End

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

I’m a total stickler for Wikipedia. I probably look up about 20 things per day from that site, on average. but there’s another site which I frequent for purposes of hilarity: it is Uncyclopedia. it’s a Wikipedia parody site, and it can make me laugh like no other site.

take this “movie” plot for example: The Dog Dies at the End.

His mother hands him a parcel, which he opens, and a puppy emerges gasping for air. “At last!” he shouts (the boy, not the dog) “A creature without the mental faculties to realize what a freak I am! He’ll be my friend.”

or, let’s check out this article on Tom Cruise:

Standing at just 4′2″, Cruise, who is not gay, is the size of a common table lamp, and is often seen wearing stilettos or dangling from a string in front of the camera in order to correct the perspective when working with normal sized actors.

many UN articles contain “quotes” by Oscar Wilde, or by Kanye West on George W. Bush and black people.

okay, I’ve got to stop writing now, I’m laughing so hard I can’t see straight, my sides are about to rupture, and I’ve almost spewed my M&M’s-in-milk everywhere about 7 times.

ze show

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

on St. Patty’s Day 2006, an odd yet hilarious man who calls himself Ze decided to start an online show. fittingly, he named this show “the show with zefrank“. once I started watching the show, I could not stop. every day I would return, to find out what the crazy Ze would do next. and every day I was kept amused.

Ze enjoys keeping us up-to-date on political events, but he explains these events from a new point of view – mainly that of a crazily hyper comedian-esque young person. the show only ran for one year, but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion it’ll be back someday.

in the meantime, check it out. start from day 1 and you’ll be kept amused for many days. word!

Of The Air

if you know me, you probably know I don’t care much about clothes. in fact, I’m known to wear the same three-to-five shirts all the time.. my favorites!

but recently, I got excited about a clothing line. my mom and sisters discovered a new Christian clothing store in Short Pump. it is C28.

how cool is this shirt?

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

I can’t wait to go get it. it tops my todo-after-next-paycheck-goes-through list :)

for the busy little bees

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

in the semi-words of Vizzini from The Princess Bride (never seen it? I hate you!), “Have you ever heard of Megaupload, Rapidshare, Yousendit? Morons!”. that’s right, Sharebee trumps them all. why? because Sharebee is them all. when you upload a file to their site, it uploads the file to a number of different filesharing sites. and, it “updates” your link every so often, in case it mysteriously “dies”. so, next time you want to share your own band’s new, unreleased album with some friends, remember this.

and thank me later.
